Ian Schrager, founder of Studio 54 & Morgan Hotel Group has started a new venture. He has started a residential development company focused on offering cutting edge design by leading architects. His latest offering in 40 Bond Street by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron.
The Schrager developments are sensitive to surrounding buildings in there massing and scale, without being respectfully dull. Tension is created with the materials used and the architectural details. Especially impressive is the iron and copper work on the 40 Bond Street project.
